Who Are We?

GS Facilities Services has the expertise and experience to deliver solutions to meet client requirements.

Extensive construction and building services expertise is the core capability that originated GS Facilities Services, with 40 years’ experience within the industry. Following numerous requests from key clients, we have progressed to provide a full facilities service in order to fulfil client demands.

Facilities management and critical support services are central to our business. We will respond to client requirements by working with your organization to identify and clarify customer demands whilst maintaining the necessary flexibility to achieve the individual service you require. Our reactive and scheduled maintenance service has been very successful, together with associated refurbishment works and independent refurbishment projects.

There has been a very high demand for these specialist tasks which are imperative to customer satisfaction. We realise innovation takes many forms and this is evident in the way we source materials from main suppliers to ensure a quality but cost effective approach to a tailor made project.

Accreditations & Sustainability

We are always looking to challenge what we do, as well as how and why we do it. We regularly review products and equipment in conjunction with industry standards to minimize environmental impact and comply with current legislation. We hold ISO accreditations 9001 & 14001 and see these as the base standards necessary for managing the quality of our customer service and the environmental impact. We regularly review our policies and procedures, liaising with our customers to find the most practical, appropriate and eco-friendly solution possible.

We have trained professionals in a variety of different sectors and have secured accreditations to ensure that we meet client expectations and comply with or exceed industry standards.

Project Delivery

Once we have been assigned to a project, we will carry out a site visit and survey to establish your specific requirements for the the duration of the project. We can provide a bespoke service from site management to CAD drawing and completion.

Whether working on a single site or across multiple locations, our qualified tradesmen ensure industry standards are implemented and adhered to at all times.

Support

We also provide a 24-hour response team to deal with any unexpected workplace-related issues & emergencies, with a service response within 4 hours.

All services can be booked with our helpdesk on 01622 535814 during the working hours of 8am-5pm. One of our fully trained
response team will then attend site to carry out reactive repairs or provide a written quotation for the works.

Our expertise

As a client orientated team, we pride ourselves on the ongoing support and advice that we provide from maintenance
and facilities perspective. Quality is key for our customers together with a high level of service.

Our teams have extensive experience in both commercial and domestic projects. We are able to undertake, manage and fit out any structural alterations to provide the necessary engineering input. M & E services, Data, Telecoms and security systems are managed and undertaken by ourselves, utilizing known specialists.

In addition, we carry out refurbishment of offices, domestic housing, prestige homes and conference facilities, including the all important reception and lobby areas, using marble, slate or granite wall and floor finishes and fibrous plastic ceilings. In terms of temporary works being carried out, an engineer will fully accomplish the works to the desired level once we have viewed and made safe.

We hold a £5 million public Liability and £10
million employee liability insurance.

We take Health & Safety very seriously and should you accept our quotation, relevant risk assessments will be undertaken and method statements drawn up. These will then be put in place and adhered to for the duration of the project to ensure public and staff protection.

As a competitive company, we are familiar with the RFI/RFP process, in terms of a cost comparison of services within the industry. We work with the client’s terms and conditions to build solid relationships. GS Facilities Services can demonstrate that we have the full range of professional services to meet your organization’s requirements.

RAMs are submitted and reviewed tailored to the specific tasks being undertaken. We will engage with the client and our Health and Safety Manager to ensure all works are being carried out within the necessary guidelines including obtaining appropriate permitting as required. Liaison with the client is key at this stage to ensure there are no unnecessary delays to the commencement of the works.
